Doflamingo is one of the most ruthless villains in One Piece, but powerful characters like Shanks and Marco would easily take him down.

For many One Piece fans, Doflamingo is the series’ best villain due to his personality, backstory, and strength. He was part of the Seven Warlords, a group of powerful pirates who worked for the World Government, and he was a major figure in the Underworld. He also ruled the Kingdom of Dressrosa like a tyrant with the help of his crew for over a decade.

Thanks to the String-String Fruit, Doflamingo can create and manipulate string, and he can turn non-living things into string thanks to Devil Fruit awakening. He is also one of the few people in the world who can use all three types of Haki. Doflamingo is strong enough to beat most pirates, but he was defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, and there are several other pirates who can beat him as well.

10Blackbeard

Blackbeard became a Yonko after killing Whitebeard during the Summit War at Marineford, and he gained the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, which means that he possesses two of the strongest Devil Fruit powers in One Piece. He is also a highly skilled Observation and Armament Haki user.

The Tremor-Tremor Fruit allows him to create quakes through any medium, and with his Haki, his punches should be able to break through Doflamingo’s defenses and severely damage his organs. The Dark-Dark Fruit is a Logia which allows him to control darkness, and it works like a black hole. This means that Blackbeard can absorb any string that Doflamingo produces.

9Charlotte Linlin

Charlotte Linlin, otherwise known as Big Mom, was one of the original Yonko, which means that she is the strongest female character in the series. Like Doflamingo, she could use all three types of Haki, but her Armament and Conqueror’s Haki are far superior.

Thanks to the Soul-Soul Fruit, she can manipulate souls, and she can use them to bring clouds and miniature suns to life. As a result, she can create a natural disaster at any time, and she used this power to injure several members of the Worst Generation at once. Big Mom is one of the few characters who can take on Kaido, so Doflamingo poses no threat.

8Marco

Marco served as Whitebeard’s right-hand man, and during the Wano Arc, he proved that he was slightly above Yonko Commander level when he fought King and Queen at the same time. He can use Observation Haki, and his Armament Haki is potent enough to kick away a Logia user like Admiral Kizaru.

He ate the Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Phoenix, which allows him to transform into a fiery blue phoenix. These blue flames have immense healing properties, to the point that Marco can heal any injury, no matter how severe, through rapid self-regeneration. This means that Doflamingo’s string and Haki attacks would ultimately be ineffective.

7Shanks

Now that One Piece has entered its final saga, fans are seeing much more of Red-Haired Shanks, the man who inspired Luffy to become a pirate. He is the only Yonko without a Devil Fruit power, and he uses each type of Haki like Doflamingo, but his strength and mastery is on another level.

He can see briefly into the future, which gives him time to react and counterattack. His Armament Haki was able to stop one of Akainu’s magma punches, which is something even Whitebeard could not do. He can use an advanced form of Conqueror’s Haki that can easily destroy Doflamingo’s strings, and he can use it to nullify Doflamingo’s Observation Haki.

6Mihawk

Dracule Mihawk was arguably the strongest member of the Seven Warlords, and he had a well-established rivalry with Shanks. He is still considered to be the strongest swordsman in the world, which is understandable since he has mastered every type of bladed weapon.

He wields Yoru, one of the 12 Supreme Blades, and he can use Armament Haki to increase its power. What makes Mihawk so formidable is his extraordinary Observation Haki, which grants him incredible eyesight. He could see Luffy clearly while he was using Gear-Second and moving at high-speeds. This means that he would be able to see all of Doflamingo’s movements with ease.

5Charlotte Katakuri

Charlotte Katakuri is Big Mom’s second son, and he is without a doubt the second strongest member of the Big Mom Pirates. He ate the Mochi-Mochi Fruit, which allows him to create and manipulate mochi. He has awakened his Devil Fruit, and as a result, he can turn non-living things into mochi as well.

He can use every type of Haki, and he can see into the future thanks to his Observation Haki, so he would be able to avoid most of Doflamingo’s attacks. Gear Fourth Luffy defeated Doflamingo, yet Katakuri was able to fight against it easily. If Katakuri had not injured himself intentionally because of honor, he would have beaten Luffy.

4Kaido

Kaido and Doflamingo had a business arrangement in which Doflamingo would supply him with Artificial Devil Fruits. Doflamingo acts as though he is not afraid of anyone, but he was fearful of incurring Kaido’s wrath if he could not keep up his end of the bargain.

Kaido would have destroyed Doflamingo if this happened. He uses all three types of Haki, but he can also use advanced forms of Conqueror’s and Armament Haki to significantly enhance his offensive and defensive capabilities. Even Doflamingo cannot use this type of Haki, plus Kaido has enough power to destroy an entire mountain when he transforms into a dragon.

3Silvers Rayleigh

Silvers Rayleigh was the right-hand man of the Pirate King, and he is still feared despite being in his 70s. He does not have a Devil Fruit power, but he can use each type of Haki, and he taught Luffy how to use them.

Doflamingo is not strong enough to beat an Admiral like Kizaru, but Rayleigh was able to fight him on even ground. When he was younger, he was even able to stop Marco of the Whitebeard Pirates with a single finger.

2Whitebeard

After Roger’s death, Whitebeard became the strongest man in the world, and Doflamingo joked about wishing to go to war with him. He was the original user of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, and with that power, he could have easily destroyed the world.

He was an incredibly powerful Haki user capable of using advanced forms of Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. Doflamingo stands no chance against Kaido, and Kaido himself stated that Whitebeard is one of the few people in the world capable of beating him, which means that he would crush Doflamingo.

1Gol D. Roger

Gol D. Roger became the Pirate King because his crew reached Laugh Tale, the island at the end of the world. When Roger and Whitebeard fought, it was clear that they were pretty equal in terms of strength, which is incredible since Roger did not have a Devil Fruit.

Kaido admitted that Roger could beat him, so someone like Doflamingo would not be much of a challenge. Roger wielded Ace, a cutlass which is one of the 12 Supreme Blades, and he could imbue it with his advanced Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. With Ace, he could easily cut through Doflamingo’s strings.
